Part 5 of the BFH Mindset & Wellness series, inspired by Marisa Peer's five RTT® principles. These are practical ideas, not universal laws of neuroscience.
You don't have to become a different person to deserve a healthier life.
Beliefs and Self-Worth
Marisa Peer's phrase “I am enough” invites us to separate our worth from appearance and performance. Repeated beliefs can affect motivation, but the mind does not automatically believe every affirmation.
Choose Believable Self-Talk
Instead of “My body is a problem,” try “My body deserves care, movement and nourishment.” Instead of “I failed because I missed a workout,” try “One missed workout doesn't erase my progress.”
Practice Self-Respect
Each morning, choose a realistic supportive statement. During the day, take one action that supports your wellbeing. Each evening, acknowledge one thing you did well without comparison.
You are already worthy of care. Let your healthy habits reflect that.
